About the Role
The role involves leading end‑to‑end project management commissions, as well as providing support on larger programmes by taking responsibility for specific service‑delivery aspects. Success will be measured by meeting client objectives, delivering on time, within budget and to required quality standards, while also assisting clients in transitioning to Net Zero and more sustainable operations. • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of construction infrastructure projects (£1‑10 m) for defence clients. • Support major commissions by managing specific service‑delivery aspects. • Ensure projects meet time, cost, quality targets and client objectives. • Advise clients on Net Zero transition and sustainable practices. • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and deliver presentations. • Obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) as a sole UK national. • Work on‑site or in office up to 60 % of the time, supporting hybrid flexible working. • Contribute to a diverse, inclusive workplace and adhere to company policies.

What You Bring
The Bristol Defence Infrastructure business is seeking Project Managers to support construction infrastructure programmes across the South/South West and nationally. Candidates with backgrounds in defence, rail, water/utilities or highways and experience with NEC contracts will be preferred, and projects typically range from £1 million to £10 million, although larger commissions may be supported. Applicants must have at least five years of experience with NEC contract administration, as well as expertise in NEC/JCT/FIDIC contracts, CDM/site health and safety, and stakeholder management. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, self‑motivation and strategic problem‑solving are essential. A degree in an infrastructure or construction‑related discipline is required, with chartered membership (ICE, APM, RICS) preferred. Only sole UK nationals who can obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) may apply, as many projects are subject to defence and trade‑control restrictions.
