About the Role

The Environmental Services Coordinator inspects and cleans various yard areas to ensure compliance with quality standards for untreated and treated materials, preservatives, and treatment specifications. The role also coordinates waste-disposal activities, manages hazardous-waste satellite drums, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements for accumulation areas and storm-water systems. Flexibility, punctuality, and participation in the company safety program are essential components of the position. • Inspect and clean yard areas to meet quality standards for untreated/treated material and preservatives. • Document BMPs and clean drip pad and treated storage zones. • Manage hazardous waste satellite drums and move full drums to 90‑day accumulation area. • Maintain 90‑day accumulation area compliance (aisle space, labeling, housekeeping). • Measure and record monthly water levels in on‑site monitoring wells. • Maintain, clean, and keep records for catch basin inserts. • Monitor and clean storm‑water treatment system influent pump inlet screens. • Coordinate disposal of DMR (treated wood) and non‑hazardous compactor waste. • Perform compliance audits of satellite accumulation areas. • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program. • Ensure good attendance, punctuality, and flexible availability as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent. • Administrative experience with inventory management. • Forklift PIE certification and DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation certification. • Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, self‑starting abilities. • Excellent customer service and communication skills with managers, customers, and public. • Ability to work independently with discretion and sound judgment. • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. • Industry knowledge of environmental services is highly desired.
