About the Role
As a Site Safety Manager, you will oversee all onsite safety documentation and services supporting the construction of underground structures such as shafts, tunnels, and slopes, while collaborating closely with the Corporate Safety and Mining Departments to ensure compliance and best practices. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, preparing and distributing safety records and reports, completing daily, weekly, and monthly field safety reports, and promoting company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment in line with MSHA federal and state regulations. • Oversee onsite safety documentation and services for underground construction (shafts, tunnels, slopes). • Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and environmental regulations. • Prepare, maintain, and distribute safety records, including cost, schedule, and production reports. • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly field safety reports. • Promote and enforce company safety policies and ensure adherence to MSHA federal and state regulations. • Collaborate with Corporate Safety and Mining Departments to implement best safety practices.

Frontier‑Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Site Safety Manager to join our project site near Elko, NV. Candidates should have ASP or CSP certification preferred, at least four years of construction site safety experience, strong familiarity with safety policies and programs, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work outdoors and underground in challenging environments, including heights, are required. • Hold ASP or CSP certification (preferred) and at least 4 years of construction site safety experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and programs. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, management, and field personnel. • Able to work outdoors and underground in challenging environments, including exposure to heights.
