About the Role
You will receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites. Responsibilities also include reading blueprints and technical manuals, installing and programming fire and life safety systems, providing excellent customer service, obtaining signatures on completed work, and participating in an on‑call rotation while mentoring teammates. The position requires troubleshooting and repairing installed systems, including panel reprogramming, device replacement, and low‑voltage circuit issues. You must organize technical resources, document all activities promptly, handle occasional after‑hours work, and provide recommendations, quotes, and solutions to improve facility efficiency. • Receive and resolve service calls for fire alarm and life safety systems • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Deliver excellent customer service and obtain signatures on completed work • Participate in on‑call rotation and mentor team members • Submit accurate documentation and provide quotes for recommended solutions

What You Bring
Candidates need at least five years of documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems such as fire/life safety, access control, nurse call, and paging. Preferred qualifications include NICET Level II certification, blueprint reading skills, and familiarity with test equipment.
