About the Role
The primary responsibility is to coordinate assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions, allocate trade field assignments, and provide ongoing support throughout project lifecycles. This includes reviewing project schedules, ensuring critical activities stay on track, and communicating Required On Job dates to the project management team. The incumbent will document and address field issues that affect budget, quality, or schedule, respond to subcontractor requests, and oversee the development and maintenance of the Resource Allocation Control System (RACS) and the Project QA/QC program. Additional duties involve identifying self‑perform opportunities, managing self‑perform performance, collaborating with the Business Unit Safety Director on safety programs, and overseeing the Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) for field tradespeople. The role also includes maintaining succession plans for high‑potential tradesmen, managing tradesmen training, and supporting business development, estimating, and project executives in creating operational and logistics plans during pre‑construction. • Coordinate superintendent and foreman assignments with the Operations Manager. • Assign and manage trade field assignments across projects. • Support superintendents throughout project execution. • Review and monitor project schedules to keep critical activities on track. • Document field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule and report them. • Respond to subcontractor inquiries related to field issues. • Oversee development and maintenance of the Resource Allocation Control System (RACS). • Guide implementation of the Project QA/QC program. • Identify and develop self‑perform project opportunities and proposals. • Manage performance of self‑perform work and related training. • Collaborate with the Business Unit Safety Director to enforce safety programs. • Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) for tradespeople. • Maintain succession and progression plans for high‑potential tradesmen. • Support business development and estimating teams with operational plans for pursuits. • Assist project executives in creating logistics plans during pre‑construction.

What You Bring
Turner’s Columbus Main division, located in Columbus, OH, is seeking an experienced professional to support Superintendents and Foremen across multiple construction projects. The role reports to the Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager and is classified as a salaried exempt position. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least ten years of related experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and SharePoint, and the ability to travel more than 50% of the time. The position requires occasional physical activity such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in typical construction site conditions, which may involve exposure to noise, weather, and moving equipment.
