About the Role

The Fire & Safety Officer – Property and Asset Management will oversee fire safety at a designated site, using assigned apparatus and following command‑structure instructions for fire suppression and related emergencies. The role involves equipment setup, coordinating emergency response teams, conducting evacuation drills, and managing rescue, firefighting and salvage operations. You will report to the Fire Safety Manager or Property Manager, depending on the scenario, and work within a 48‑hour weekly schedule alongside the property manager and two additional staff members. Site responsibilities also include maintaining fire equipment records, pre‑fire planning documentation, and liaising with government authorities for NOC renewals. • Set up fire‑fighting equipment upon arrival at an incident scene. • Dispatch and accompany the Emergency Response Team (ERT). • Prepare and conduct fire‑ and life‑safety evacuation drills and trainings. • Execute rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations during incidents. • Assess trapped individuals and coordinate their safe rescue. • Perform periodic lift evacuation and rescue drills. • Secure affected structures to prevent rekindling after a fire. • Inventory and record all equipment post‑suppression and complete incident reports. • Maintain checklists, maintenance logs, and training records for fire equipment. • Participate in pre‑fire planning studies and keep plans up to date. • Liaise with government authorities to renew NOCs periodically. • Apply an analytical and meticulous approach to ensuring fire and life‑safety systems operate effectively. • Determine the required type and quantity of fire equipment for specific areas. • Utilize advanced AI tools for career development and role matching.

What You Bring

• Hold a diploma or degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety. • Possess 3–5 years of relevant fire safety or emergency response experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of current fire suppression and firefighting techniques. • Understand principles and practices of emergency medical services.
