About the Role
Document Control is led at organisational, programme and project levels through discovery and understanding, client adoption strategy, compliance checking, ISO 19650‑based CDE setup, and leveraging a range of CDE tools for efficient information management. The specialist staff operate globally using cutting‑edge tools and techniques to realise client visions. • Contribute to discovery sessions, implement required metadata, permissions, folder structures, workflows and processes for CDEs. • Create user accounts, issue invitations and maintain security groups. • Support production of project documentation and client requirements. • Assist in producing project or programme Information Standards by detailing CDE requirements. • Update and adjust CDE configurations to support new teams and evolving ways of working. • Monitor compliance of incoming and outgoing documents through established workflows. • Track workflow progress, report outstanding reviews and resolve blockers. • Provide regular progress reports and respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests. • Conduct audits on file naming, storage locations and user access; deliver compliance reports to stakeholders. • Act as the main point of contact for all queries and issues related to the CDE system. • Organise and deliver regular training sessions on system use; maintain training logs and distribute user guides. • Provide in‑depth training for super users and administrators on advanced CDE functionality. • Generate ad‑hoc reports on system usage, compliance and assist with user activity requests.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3 + years experience as a Document Controller. • Consultancy experience is favourable but not required. • Understanding of BIM in the context of Information Management and Document Control. • Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards (especially Part 2) and their impact on Information Management. • Administrator‑level experience with at least one CDE/EDMS such as SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, ViewPoint, Asite or Dalux. • User‑level experience with another CDE/EDMS or similar system. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills. • Experience using advanced CDE/EDMS features (e.g., e‑procurement, ACC Take‑off). • Ability to work independently and be self‑motivated. • Ability to work in a diverse skilled team. • Clear communication skills with all project stakeholders. • Capability to lead project meetings and workshops. • Strong presentation and discussion facilitation skills. • Inquisitive, methodical approach to tasks and confidence to challenge others. • Degree‑level education or equivalent demonstrable workplace experience.
