About the Role

The engineer will apply civil/structural engineering principles and project management skills to complete tasks from start to finish, resolve construction issues—especially involving reinforced concrete—maintain project budgets, schedules, and quality, and follow company design procedures for power delivery (substations, BESS, transmission lines). They will act as engineer of record, review design documents, apply appropriate design codes, perform value‑engineering analyses, conduct occasional site visits, and assist in preparing project proposals. • Apply civil/structural engineering and project management principles to deliver projects from concept to completion. • Resolve reinforced concrete construction issues and ensure client satisfaction. • Maintain project budgets, schedules, and quality standards. • Follow and improve company design procedures for power delivery systems (substations, BESS, transmission lines). • Serve as engineer of record and review/approve design documents and shop drawings. • Perform value‑engineering analyses to achieve cost‑competitive designs. • Conduct site visits to inspect construction quality as needed. • Assist in preparing project proposals and documentation.

Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering and 0‑5+ years of design or project‑management experience; renewable‑energy or power‑delivery experience is a plus. Required knowledge includes U.S. structural codes (ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI) and the ability to interpret geotechnical reports, design reinforced concrete, anchorage, and structural steel, and use Microsoft Office and design software such as STAAD.Pro or AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role requires strong verbal and written communication, ability to lead or participate in project teams, multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and willingness to travel short durations to project sites in the U.S. or Canada. • B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (0–5+ years experience). • Knowledge of U.S. structural codes (ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI); additional codes a plus. • Experience with reinforced concrete, anchorage, and structural steel design. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools (STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.). • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead or contribute to project teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel for short site visits.
