About the Role
You will join a close‑knit Facilities Maintenance Team that operates like a self‑contained city, ensuring the safe and smooth functioning of the prison for inmates, staff, visitors and the wider community. In this position you will work alongside a diverse group of tradespeople—including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators—to help create a secure environment and support the rehabilitation of prisoners. • Maintain strong health and safety knowledge.

What You Bring
• Possess at least five years of experience as an electrician or equivalent. • Demonstrated experience with commercial or industrial electrical and building services. • Proven ability to supervise and manage staff. • Hold a full driving licence, preferably with D1 entitlement. • Hold C&G 2367 or 2357 certification and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent). • Hold a BS 7671 certificate (17th or 18th Edition). • Exhibit excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
