About the Role

The position provides independent technical, regulatory, and program support for Constellation Nuclear environmental compliance across areas such as air permits, hazardous waste shipments, NPDES permits, spill prevention, OSHA chemical safety, and more. As program owner and administrator, the incumbent works with functional areas, regulatory agencies, and industry groups, develops stakeholder relationships, and delivers environmental training to site personnel. Key duties include delivering technical guidance, supporting regulatory requirements, maintaining environmental contracts, and representing the site during internal and external audits. The role manages environmental projects from scope development through budgeting and delivery, serves as a technical expert in meetings with regulators and consultants, and updates procedures to reflect new regulations. Additional responsibilities involve evaluating new technologies, participating in emergency response, and providing departmental coverage as needed. • Provide technical guidance and regulatory support for environmental programs (e.g., air permits, hazardous waste, NPDES, OSHA). • Serve as program owner and administrator, coordinating with functional areas and regulatory agencies. • Represent Constellation Nuclear in audits, leadership meetings, and external stakeholder engagements. • Manage environmental projects, including scope definition, proposal solicitation, budgeting, and deliverables. • Review, interpret, and update procedures based on new federal and state environmental regulations. • Evaluate new technologies and processes, recommending actions to improve operations. • Deliver environmental training to site personnel and conduct tours for regulatory officials. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support activities.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications differ by level: E2 candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience with environmental programs, presentation skills, basic knowledge of federal and state statutes, and meet access and medical requirements. E3 candidates require a bachelor’s degree plus six years of relevant experience, two years of advocacy experience, demonstrated multi‑media regulatory knowledge, and the same access and medical standards. Preferred qualifications include experience in the nuclear utility industry, a master’s degree or graduate coursework in engineering, science, law, or business, and professional certifications or recognitions. • Meet minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree plus 2 years (E2) or 6 years (E3) of environmental program experience, presentation skills, and access/medical requirements.
