About the Role

The position performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, making key technical decisions and applying detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations. • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation. • Manage engineering issues from task initiation to completion. • Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles per supervision. • Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and proper configuration management of work, adhering to design criteria, codes, and procedures. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses supporting technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design/material flaws, or meet code changes. • Participate in emergency response, department duty coverage, outage support, and other assignments as directed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and have at least five years of nuclear or related engineering experience, along with the ability to meet access and medical requirements. Professional Engineer licensure, an advanced degree, or experience with PRA model development are considered strong assets. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. • Ability to meet minimum/unescorted access requirements and pass required medical examinations. • Professional Engineer registration (preferred). • Advanced technical degree or related coursework (preferred). • 4 years experience in PRA model development or application (preferred).
