About the Role

Mace promotes a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment, supports net‑zero carbon transition, and encourages continuous improvement through its knowledge networks and centres of excellence. • Support cost planning, procurement and cost management to meet strategic outcomes and KPIs. • Uphold ethical, compliant operations and contribute to net‑zero carbon transition. • Drive innovation and best practice through Mace knowledge networks and centres of excellence. • Manage feasibility studies, value management, estimating and cost planning, and present final cost plans. • Oversee procurement, contract documentation, administration and contractor selection through to completion. • Deliver robust cost control, valuations, financial reporting, variations and final account agreements. • Develop teams, stakeholders and processes, embedding continuous improvement and net‑zero outcomes.

What You Bring

The role is based on the client’s Weybridge site (minimum three days per week) with occasional work in Moorgate, London, and requires BPSS and SC clearance. • Provide proven cost consultancy experience in construction, especially public sector, laboratories or complex scientific environments. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, contract administration, risk management and contract law. • Hold a degree in quantity surveying or cost management; be MRICS qualified or working towards professional accreditation. • Exhibit commercial acumen with expertise in value engineering, lifecycle costing, sustainability, carbon and Capex/Opex analysis.
