About the Role
• Inspect, repair, install, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, and electrical signal/communication systems. • Locate and fix failures in electrical circuits and equipment. • Install test apparatus and document wiring in schematic diagrams. • Provide training, oversight, and assistance to maintenance and modification crews. • Perform emergency response duties and additional tasks such as decontamination, housekeeping, painting, calibration, and tool room work.

What You Bring
The position involves skilled electrical work focused on the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal of nuclear power‑plant equipment. It requires completion of an Electrician qualification book. Applicants must have completed an accredited electrical training program and possess at least two years of relevant experience in trades, manufacturing, Navy nuclear, or an INPO‑accredited maintenance program. Certification and recertification may be required by the NRC or industry standards. Candidates must be physically capable of performing essential functions, pass a validated aptitude test, and satisfy NRC psychological testing regulations. Successful candidates must also complete plant access, radiation‑safety, and respirator‑qualification training to maintain unescorted access. • Complete an Electrician qualification book as required. • Hold an accredited electrical training credential with at least 2 years of relevant experience. • Meet NRC certification, recertification, psychological testing, and radiation safety requirements. • Pass a validated aptitude test and maintain physical capability for job functions.
