About the Role
• Monitor project expenditures against budgets to maintain commercial integrity. • Collaborate with delivery teams to develop and update complex project schedules and resource allocations. • Manage project budgets, cost‑breakdown structures, and cost‑control processes. • Prepare accurate cost forecasts, cash‑flow projections and perform variance analysis by work package. • Ensure timely capture of costs (timesheets, plant hours, materials) and month‑end close discipline. • Utilise ERP and project‑controls tools for financial reporting and vendor management.

What You Bring
ACCIONA seeks an experienced Cost Controller to report to the Finance, Governance & Risk Manager at the Newport site office. The role will provide technical expertise in cost management, integrate financial data with schedule performance, and support informed decision‑making across diverse teams in a fast‑paced alliance environment. • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or Finance. • Minimum four years’ experience in cost control/quantity surveying on large Australian construction or infrastructure projects. • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
