About the Role
The Building Floor Assistant role supports building operations by maintaining clean and organized workspaces throughout construction and assisting with basic building tasks. This reliable, hardworking position is essential for ensuring safe, hazard‑free environments and requires diligence and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting. Key duties include cleaning up around buildings during construction stages, removing debris and trash, assisting with final cleaning before shipment, and supporting entry‑level tasks such as moving, organizing, and staging materials. The assistant also operates basic hand tools, follows safety protocols, and communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently. • Clean up in and around buildings during construction stages. • Remove debris, trash, and miscellaneous items from company premises. • Assist in final cleaning of buildings before shipment to customers. • Support basic building tasks such as moving, organizing, and staging materials. • Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed. • Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard‑free work environment. • Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
