About the Role
The SCADA Engineering Technician will manage equipment inventory, coordinate material shipments, and work closely with project managers to develop procurement and deployment plans. Responsibilities also include receiving equipment, data entry, assisting with SCADA deployments, troubleshooting site issues, and supporting testing activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing while ensuring safety compliance. • Manage equipment and device inventory. • Coordinate material shipment logistics. • Develop procurement and deployment plans, timelines, and costs with project managers. • Ensure clear requirements and expectations among project teams. • Record equipment receiving and perform data entry. • Assist in deploying SCADA solutions within budget and schedule. • Troubleshoot site issues until requirements are satisfied. • Support datalogger units and weather sensor hardware using standard SCADA protocols. • Prepare equipment for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with the SCADA team. • Support network servers and test racks for development and testing. • Enforce safety requirements on all activities.

RRC is seeking a talented SCADA Engineering Technician to work from its Broomfield, Colorado office. The full‑time position offers a salary range of $60,000–$65,000 and supports the company’s mission to build the future of U.S. energy production. RRC is a multidisciplinary engineering firm founded in 2007 that specializes in renewable energy projects across the United States. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and two years of warehouse inventory or logistics experience. Required technical skills include proficiency with Campbell Scientific Datalogger software, and preferred experience with station design, sensor integration, automation devices, and FAT/SAT testing. Strong communication and detailed inventory management abilities are essential, and familiarity with the renewable‑energy sector is a plus. • Proficient with Campbell Scientific Datalogger software. • Experience with methodological station design and commissioning (preferred). • Familiarity with Hukseflux, Kipp & Zonen, and Atonometrics sensors (preferred). • Experience integrating automation devices (preferred). • Knowledge of FAT and SAT testing and documentation (preferred). • High school diploma or higher. • Minimum two years of warehouse inventory and logistics experience. • Strong communication and detailed inventory management skills. • Working knowledge of renewable energy projects (preferred).
