About the Role

A Fabricator examines customer specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the finished‑item characteristics, materials, and machine‑setup requirements; fabricates work pieces accordingly; retrieves correct materials; and conducts visual and dimensional inspections with tape rules, calipers, or gauges to ensure standards are met. The role also includes packaging items for shipping, installing protective devices to prevent damage during transport, following company safety policies and procedures, and performing other assigned duties. • Examine specifications and blueprints to determine material and machine set‑up requirements • Fabricate work pieces according to work order specifications • Retrieve materials and perform various fabrication duties • Inspect finished pieces using visual checks, tape rules, calipers, or gauges • Package items for shipping and install protective devices to prevent damage • Follow company safety policies and procedures
