About the Role

Pre‑sales responsibilities include system configuration validation, HVAC equipment and controls selection, basis‑of‑design development, bidding, pricing, and job‑site inspections to assess existing conditions and equipment operability. Post‑sale duties involve executing projects profitably, accurately and on‑time, providing detailed engineering submittals, and balancing customer satisfaction with financial results. You will administer the NA Technology and Solution Engineering project development process, reinforce methodology for solution analysis, and provide technical sales assistance and cost estimates. Using tools such as Selection Navigator and Visio, you will assemble detailed applications, manage project cost data, and support the Metasys system and other applications for above‑market sales channels. Key tasks include developing control schematics, specifications, sequence‑of‑operations documents, and BMS network architecture; conducting site surveys; designing BMS systems for design‑build projects; and creating integration roadmaps with the OpenBlue Digital team. What You Bring

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology, 5‑7 years (or up to 10 years) experience in HVAC equipment, building automation controls, or a related field, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe Writer/Bluebeam, with AutoCAD being a plus. Candidates must demonstrate independent work ability, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Required: Bachelor’s in engineering/technology and 5‑7 (or up to 10) years HVAC/building automation experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe Writer/Bluebeam; AutoCAD a plus • Strong organizational, communication and independent work skills
