About the Role
The manager will drive the pitching and client billing process, preparing and presenting commercial proposals for design‑and‑build RFPs. Coordination with designers and MEP consultants ensures cost and specification integration, while value‑engineering activities rationalise budgets. Key financial duties include preparing estimate control sheets, financial summaries, and profit‑and‑loss statements, obtaining approvals, and monitoring budget versus actual performance throughout construction. The manager also oversees variation order tracking, BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and final vendor negotiations to achieve target net revenue. Vendor management responsibilities cover grievance handling, performance evaluation, and establishing new supplier networks for price optimisation. The role mentors the regional QS team, conducts product and market research, and collaborates closely with procurement and contracts to streamline processes. • Present commercial proposals and pitch presentations for D&B RFPs. • Prepare, review, and modify indicative and detailed cost proposals from sketch drawings. • Coordinate with designers and MEP consultants to integrate cost and specifications. • Conduct value engineering to optimise project costs. • Document preamble, specifications, estimates, rate analysis, and variation orders. • Prepare estimate control sheets, financial summaries, and P&L statements and obtain approvals. • Track budget versus actual costs, reconcile savings, and manage variations. • Prepare detailed BOQs, specifications, and tender documents for interior works. • Circulate RFPs to vendors, compile MEP BOQs, and negotiate vendor rates to achieve target net revenue. • Monitor financial closure of vendors, reconcile billing, and manage vendor grievances. • Mentor and coach regional QS team and develop vendor performance matrices. • Research alternate products, market pricing, and support value engineering initiatives. • Collaborate with procurement and contracts teams to streamline procurement processes.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a civil engineering diploma or degree and have five to eight years of experience in commercial fit‑out projects. Proven ability to enhance project profitability through vendor negotiations, strong governance, and efficient process management are essential. • Hold a diploma or BE in Civil Engineering. • possess 5–8 years of experience in commercial fit‑out projects. • Demonstrated ability to improve project profitability through vendor negotiations. • Strong governance, compliance, and efficient process management skills.
