Maintenance Technician, Multifamily

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician for the Multifamily Village of Rowlett supports resident satisfaction by ensuring smooth move‑ins, addressing service requests quickly, and providing personal attention. This role is central to delivering superior customer service and upholding the company's commitment to its residents. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and minor repairs, as well as responding to resident requests with professionalism. The technician must possess basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills, maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities, and be available for after‑hour emergencies on call. Additional responsibilities involve reporting maintenance concerns, performing scheduled work, adhering to fair housing laws, completing required training, dressing according to company standards, and following all safety procedures. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, minor repairs) • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities • Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hour emergencies • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing regulations • Attend required training programs and adhere to company safety procedures • Wear the Cushman & Wakefield uniform and maintain a professional appearance • Work in an office setting using computers, phones, and standard office equipment

What You Bring
