About the Role

In this role you will receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, troubleshoot, install and repair a variety of fire and life‑safety systems, and follow technical manuals and blueprints to diagnose and fix equipment. You will communicate with customers and district staff, complete service acknowledgments, obtain signatures, and participate in an on‑call rotation while mentoring teammates as needed. • Receive and respond to service calls from the Service Resource Center. • Troubleshoot, install, and repair fire and life‑safety systems from multiple manufacturers. • Diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, blueprints, and test equipment. • Communicate with customers and district staff to ensure satisfaction and obtain signatures. • Complete service acknowledgments with proper coding via smartphones or laptops. • Participate in an on‑call rotation and mentor fellow service team members.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of documented experience in low‑voltage electrical and fire/life‑safety systems, strong blueprint reading skills, and familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and digital analyzers. A high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and the capacity to lift 50‑70 lb equipment are required. • Minimum 2 years experience with low‑voltage electrical and fire/life‑safety systems. • Proficient in reading blueprints, submittals, and product manuals. • Knowledge of multimeters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices. • High school diploma or equivalent; able to follow written and verbal instructions. • Capable of lifting and moving equipment and tools up to 50‑70 lb.
