About the Role
Interns work alongside experienced professionals on real projects that have measurable impact. Each intern owns a meaningful project and presents the results to senior leaders at the end of the summer. Additional activities include skill‑building workshops, executive roundtables, and community events with fellow interns nationwide. Key duties include using problem‑solving skills to identify issues, conducting analyses, and delivering insights and recommendations. What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant bachelor’s degree. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI‑related tools and a willingness to explore how AI can enhance quality engineering, testing, and automation. The role is primarily office‑based, requiring standard equipment such as computers and phones. Interns work onsite at WM’s downtown Houston headquarters Monday through Thursday, with a flexible remote day on Friday, and must reside in the Houston, TX area or nearby. • Solve problems, conduct analyses, and deliver actionable insights. • Must have a high school diploma/GED and be pursuing or have completed a relevant bachelor's degree. • Preferred: experience with AI tools and interest in applying AI to quality engineering, testing, and automation.
