About the Role

The analyst provides advice and solutions to commercial construction clients, ensuring compliance with corporate, contractor‑controlled, owner‑controlled, builders’ risk, and subcontractor default insurance programs. The role involves generating pricing, managing insurance programs, conducting compliance reviews, and supporting clients’ financial and operations teams. Key interactions include responding to RFPs/RFQs, training clients on insurance program fundamentals, and collaborating with business development, brokers, and other stakeholders. The analyst may also supervise junior analysts and coordinators, delivering performance feedback. • Deliver exceptional customer support for insurance and surety requests across commercial construction projects. • Generate preliminary insurance and surety pricing using proprietary systems. • Procure and manage required insurance programs leveraging existing solutions. • Conduct compliance and risk reviews of client policies against program requirements. • Assess project‑specific insurance needs, research options, and propose solutions with the Insurance Manager. • Develop and distribute monthly Origami data reports and ad‑hoc client reports. • Assist financial and operations teams in understanding complex insurance concepts and billing processes. • Review and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs covering coverage, pricing, and contract terms. • Provide training on corporate, CCIP, OCIP, Builders’ Risk, and SDI programs, updating status to the Project Risk Director. • Support business development teams with accurate insurance program information. • Supervise junior Insurance Analysts and Coordinators, delivering performance feedback. • Maintain active professional designation (e.g., ARM, CRIS) and stay current on insurance practices.

What You Bring

The Insurance Analyst role is located in the United States within Turner’s TSIB – Risk Services division. The position reports to the Insurance Manager and is classified as an experienced, salaried exempt role requiring a bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications include a minimum of three years of insurance or related experience, a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, and preferably a professional designation such as ARM or CRIS. Candidates should have strong knowledge of commercial insurance and surety products, excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and insurance risk‑management systems. The position requires limited travel (up to 10 %), occasional on‑site work at construction sites, and the ability to lift up to 25 lb. Turner and TSIB are equal‑opportunity employers.
