About the Role
The position performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, making technical decisions and applying deep knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations. • Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation. • Manage engineering tasks from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Apply engineering principles to assigned tasks while maintaining proper configuration management. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and ensure code compliance. • Participate in emergency response, department duty coverage, outage support, and other assignments as directed.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) and at least five years of nuclear or related engineering experience, along with required access credentials and a favorable medical exam. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration, an advanced technical degree or related coursework, six or more years of experience in PRA model development or application, and an SRO license or certificate.
