The incumbent will manage environmental projects such as site assessments, remediation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. The role includes contributing to corporate profile and providing technical direction and training to less experienced team members. • Manage environmental projects: site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, regulatory compliance. • Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams and provide technical direction. • Design remediation programs for soil, groundwater, and soil vapour. • Liaise with clients, government agencies, sub‑consultants, and subcontractors. • Contribute to business development: proposals, presentations, client relationship growth. • Mentor and train junior staff, providing technical coaching.

What You Bring
Dillon is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist/Engineer for its Contaminant Remediation Group. The role suits candidates with strong technical skills, excellent communication, business acumen, and a collaborative mindset. It offers an entrepreneurial, flexible work environment within a fast‑paced, agile team. Candidates must hold a degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology or environmental science (master’s preferred) and be licensed or eligible for licensure within six months. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, proven project‑management expertise, and a valid driver’s licence are required. Key competencies include successful client relationship management, expertise in groundwater evaluation, phased site assessments, contaminant transport modeling, remedial options analysis, design of remediation plans, and knowledge of environmental legislation. Strong report writing, communication, organization and interpersonal skills are essential. • Hold a degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology or environmental science; professional licensure (or eligibility) required. • Minimum 15 years relevant experience, proven project‑management track record, and valid driver’s licence. • Demonstrated expertise in groundwater evaluation, phased site assessments, contaminant fate and transport, remedial options analysis, and compliance monitoring plans. • Strong written and verbal communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
