About the Role

The End of Line Test Rack Production Leader at AAON oversees testing activities on final‑stage production racks, ensuring that operations achieve the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This position manages the testing workforce, coordinates with cross‑functional teams, monitors quality control, addresses production challenges, drives continuous improvement, and maintains comprehensive documentation while providing regular performance updates to management. • Allocate team members, equipment, and materials to implement production and testing plans. • Set performance expectations, coach, and evaluate testing staff. • Coordinate and support employees conducting testing on production equipment. • Monitor and enforce quality control processes to meet standards. • Investigate production and quality issues; implement corrective actions. • Lead safety training, conduct audits, and recommend improvements. • Identify and apply best practices for process optimization. • Drive improvements to increase productivity and product quality. • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, safety incidents, and process changes. • Communicate production status and challenges to Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and management. • Generate regular reports on productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics. • Promote an inclusive team environment with gender‑neutral language and diverse perspectives. • Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program. • Obtain and maintain 608 universal and A2L refrigerant certifications.

What You Bring

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED with an HVAC certificate, preferably several years of relevant industry experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC systems, quality and safety regulations, electrical troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills. The role requires physical stamina for lifting and standing, exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, and compliance with safety‑sensitive policies; AAON offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and sustainability. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and HVAC certificate; 3–5 years relevant experience preferred. • Possess strong HVAC, quality control, safety, electrical troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and production management software. • Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, bend, and work in varying temperature and noisy environments.
