About the Role

The Leasing Consultant walks the marketing tour path, opens target viewing apartments, and ensures that apartments, model homes, and community amenities are clean and rent‑ready. You respond promptly to resident and prospective resident calls and emails, convert inbound calls into walk‑in traffic, and set viewing appointments. Tours are conducted with energy and enthusiasm following the Weidner way, and the application process is facilitated at the end of each tour. Applications are reviewed and processed immediately, with timely and respectful communication of results. You follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience, maintain traffic queues, shop competitive properties monthly, and adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies while keeping common areas clean to Weidner’s quality standards. • Walk marketing tour path, open target apartments, and ensure rent‑ready units and amenities. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls/emails; convert calls to walk‑in traffic and schedule viewings. • Tour prospective residents with enthusiasm, facilitate and process applications immediately. • Maintain clean, market‑ready apartments and common areas daily per quality standards. • Conduct monthly competitive property scouting and adhere to daily marketing/leasing strategies. • Assist with lease renewals to promote resident retention.

What You Bring

Successful candidates have prior customer service experience, can complete tasks safely and efficiently, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. They must communicate professionally in person, by phone, email, and text, and have experience with Microsoft Office; Yardi and Paycom experience is preferred. The role requires adherence to Weidner’s Mission, Vision, Values, policies, Fair Housing laws, regular attendance, professional appearance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including occasional outside‑hour or additional property assignments. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass a background check and voluntary drug testing. • Communicate application results respectfully and follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience. • Prior customer service experience; ability to work safely, efficiently, and in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong communication skills in person, phone, email, and text. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi and Paycom experience preferred. • Reliable attendance, professional appearance, and ability to work flexible hours. • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and up‑to‑date vehicle insurance. • Willingness to undergo background check, voluntary drug testing, and potential assignments to other properties.
