What You Bring
AECOM is seeking a Design Intern for the Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio office, expected to begin in Spring 2026. The internship offers undergraduate and graduate students hands‑on experience on engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make real‑world impact. The position requires a hybrid work schedule with regular office presence in Cleveland/Columbus, OH, and potential domestic travel. Relocation assistance is not available. • Currently enrolled in an architecture program (bachelor’s or higher) with at least two years completed; U.S. citizenship required. • Possess knowledge of design process, conceptual thinking, and construction documentation; strong organization and scheduling skills. • Demonstrate strong studio culture, collaborate with all staff levels, and have entry‑level understanding of design, master planning, materials, and specifications. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Rhino, and related CADD software; experience with 3D modeling and rendering. • Exhibit intellectual curiosity, diverse design interests, and a preference for candidates with two academic years remaining before graduation, with potential for full‑time offer after successful internship.
