About the Role

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Data Management to lead its data platform initiatives. The role focuses on expanding Autodesk Data Models for the manufacturing industry, ensuring the platform can store and manage exabytes of CAD data in the cloud with low‑latency, secure, and resilient performance. You will work closely with cloud platform and manufacturing software teams to drive innovation across Autodesk's verticals. In this position you will define the vision and strategy for foundational data management solutions, create an API strategy that eases internal onboarding, and manage the full product lifecycle including roadmap, release planning, and positioning. You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, and product teams to deliver high‑scale, low‑latency outcomes, and translate high‑level customer needs into detailed Product Requirement Documents for engineering execution. • Define and drive vision for scalable data management solutions across Autodesk. • Create an API strategy to simplify platform onboarding for internal customers. • Build and manage relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teams to achieve low‑latency, high‑scale performance. • Collaborate with Autodesk product teams and third‑party developers to prioritize and plan new features. • Communicate platform value internally and differentiate it from competitive offerings. • Translate high‑level customer outcomes into detailed Product Requirement Documents for engineering. • Ensure foundational services scale to exabytes of data with secure, resilient, low‑latency performance. • Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, designers, product managers, and architects to deliver enhancements.

What You Bring

The minimum qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS or technology platforms, and a proven track record building data management solutions that scale with low latency. Strong communication, storytelling, and prioritization skills are essential, as is the ability to simplify complex technical and business concepts for diverse audiences.
