About the Role
• Install and connect control and power distribution systems, including switchgear, panels, motor control centers, and transformers. • Use multi-meters to measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and other parameters. • Connect branch circuits, feeders, and controls, handling terminations and equipment. • Diagnose, repair, and resolve circuit and system problems using testing instruments and schematics. • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations. • Perform layout tasks for overhead and in‑wall rough‑ins. • Generate complete material lists for assigned scopes of work. • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems, including circuit continuity checks. • Maximize efficiency and minimize waste on job sites. • Assist other employees as needed and maintain good working relationships. • Inspect completed jobs for quality, safety, and cleanliness. • Observe and implement safe work practices and procedures. • Maintain a high attention to detail and follow established processes.

What You Bring
The Electrician – Distribution Systems role involves performing electrical installation and service tasks to required specifications, such as bending conduit, pulling wire, and installing fixtures, devices, plates, switchgear, and branch circuits. The incumbent must read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings, and mentor, direct, and supervise apprentices. Experience with distribution systems is preferred. This is a traveling position with projects across various locations throughout the United States. Candidates may reside anywhere in the country, though there is a preference for applicants from the Midwest and Southeast. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • At least four years of experience in the electrical trade. • Current state Electrical Journeyman license preferred. • Valid state‑issued driver’s license. • Advanced knowledge of electrical theory, NEC, and local codes. • Ability to travel by car and plane with overnight stays. • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specifications. • Capable of performing mathematical calculations relevant to the trade. • Expertise with hand tools, testing equipment, and common trade gear. • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and diagnostic abilities. • Current OSHA 10 certification. • Current Elevated Work Platform certification. • Current Lockout/Tagout training certification. • Current First Aid and CPR certification. • Current NFPA 70E Arc Flash training certification.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $55.00 per hour, based on electrical licenses, experience, and other factors. The package includes paid time off, housing or Airbnb accommodations with a daily per diem, covered travel expenses, and full medical, dental, 401(k), and additional benefits.
