About the Role

The role focuses on preparing prevailing wage and Davis‑Bacon reports, maintaining accurate certified payroll records, and supporting labor‑compliance projects as directed by the Labor Compliance Manager. The position requires tracking hours for owner‑controlled insurance projects, responding to payroll inquiries, and performing audits to ensure regulatory compliance. • Prepare and submit multi‑state Prevailing Wage and Davis‑Bacon certified payroll reports. • Track and report hours for owner‑controlled insurance projects. • Conduct audits of payroll records to verify accuracy and compliance. • Manage Subcontract Certified Payroll Reports. • Respond to certified payroll inquiries and requests. • Support labor‑compliance projects assigned by the Labor Compliance Manager.

What You Bring

Employees are expected to work in office and field environments, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lb and access to heights over 6 ft. The job involves clear English communication, manual dexterity for office tasks, and frequent travel to customer sites, with limited overnight trips. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years payroll and job‑costing experience in construction. • Knowledge of Prevailing Wage laws in CA, AZ, NV, TX, NY, and NJ. • Strong work ethic, teamwork ability, and confidentiality handling. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. • Associate’s degree or higher in a related field. • 3+ years experience with multi‑state Prevailing Wage and Davis‑Bacon reporting. • Experience tracking hours for owner‑controlled insurance projects. • Proven audit experience for payroll compliance. • Familiarity with Subcontract Certified Payroll reporting. • Ability to address certified payroll questions independently. • Proficiency with payroll and reporting software. • Adaptability to changing regulations. • Communicate clearly in English (see, hear, speak, write). • Manual dexterity for occasional reaching, lifting light objects, and operating office equipment. • Ability to sit, stand, walk in office and construction sites. • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lb and work at heights over 1.8 m (6 ft). • On‑site presence with customers or contractors, managing expectations and deliverables. • Required travel to customer sites; limited overnight travel may be needed.
