About the Role

• Support noise analysis for transportation, construction, energy, and development projects. • Perform predictive noise analyses using FHWA Traffic Noise Model and CadnaA. • Deploy, supervise, and document field sound level measurements in diverse outdoor conditions. • Process measurement data and prepare client deliverables such as reports, technical documents, and graphics. • Research and review local, state, and national noise regulations. • Work a standard 40‑hour week with occasional night and weekend assignments.

What You Bring

We are seeking an entry‑level Acoustician to work in our Oakland, Los Angeles, Orange, or San Diego offices, with the position available to start as soon as possible. The role supports noise analysis for major transportation, construction, energy, and development projects across the United States. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring regular office presence in California and frequent travel for field sound measurements in varying outdoor climates. Some night and weekend assignments may be required in addition to a standard 40‑hour workweek. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, acoustical science, or environmental policy. • US citizenship and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required. • Preferred: experience in acoustics/noise control, familiarity with CAD, Excel, GIS, Revit, BIM360, and noise‑measurement equipment. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, verbal communication, and public speaking skills.
