About the Role
The Quality Manager at Kimberly-Clark’s Owensboro Plant leads the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with company standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role supports the delivery of better care for billions of consumers worldwide while embodying the company’s core values of integrity and quality. The manager works closely with the plant leadership team and the broader quality leadership organization. The manager acts as the plant’s appointed Quality Management representative, driving compliance with internal and external standards and implementing product, process, material, and system improvements to meet business objectives. They communicate quality data, conduct regular QMS metric reviews, maintain data‑driven decision tools, and provide statistical analysis to reduce variability. Additionally, they lead training, support raw‑material quality, champion continuous‑improvement initiatives, and respond swiftly to quality incidents. • Serve as the Owensboro Plant’s Quality Management representative. • Ensure compliance with internal standards, ISO 9001, and regulatory guidelines. • Lead implementation of product, process, material, and system improvements to meet business goals. • Communicate quality metrics and concerns to internal and corporate stakeholders. • Conduct routine QMS reviews, including scorecard and management reviews. • Develop and maintain data‑driven decision tools and statistical analyses to reduce variability. • Set departmental objectives in collaboration with plant leadership. • Support raw‑material quality and cost optimization with suppliers. • Design, deliver, and coach plant‑wide quality training programs. • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for North America quality projects. • Lead rapid response to quality incidents, assess defects, and establish defect rates. • Facilitate plant board events and promote a quality‑focused culture. • Participate in flexible savings accounts, income‑protection insurance, and 401(k) with profit sharing.

What You Bring
Successful candidates hold a four‑year degree or at least three years of relevant quality or operational leadership experience in manufacturing, with a solid grasp of ISO 9001 and statistical quality principles. Over five years of QA experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and inclusion are required; paper‑manufacturing experience and ASQ certification are a plus. • Hold a bachelor's degree or minimum three years of quality/operational leadership experience in manufacturing. • Demonstrate at least five years of quality assurance and statistical analysis experience. • Possess strong communication skills across all organizational levels. • Paper‑manufacturing experience or ASQ Certified Quality Manager/Engineer is advantageous.
