About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to plan and manage resources, finances, scope, and services within an IT functional area to deliver business results. The role ensures IT products, services, and solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and with the required functionality while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to strategy development. Key responsibilities include leading and managing IT staff and resources according to the IT Business Plan, planning and controlling scope, schedule, and budget for projects, and ensuring operational services meet defined service‑level agreements. The incumbent will oversee process‑improvement initiatives, maintain business and IT partner relationships, communicate status to stakeholders, coach personnel, and manage the area’s budget. • Lead and manage IT staff, resources, and projects in line with the IT Business Plan. • Plan and control scope, schedule, and budget for medium to high complexity IT projects. • Ensure operational services meet defined service‑level agreements and budgets. • Drive process‑improvement initiatives to achieve top‑quartile cost and performance. • Maintain and enhance relationships with business and IT partners; provide regular status updates. • Coach IT personnel, support career development, and promote diversity and teamwork. • Prepare and manage the departmental budget for the area of responsibility.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and typically 8‑10 years of experience in Data Platforms and Data Engineering, along with strong technical data‑engineering skills. Candidates should have experience leading IT projects and technical teams, possess strong analytical judgment, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing functional‑area budgets; PMP certification is preferred. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree and additional project‑management certification. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8‑10 years of Data Platforms/Engineering experience. • Demonstrate strong data‑engineering technical skills and knowledge of business processes. • Experience leading IT projects and technical teams; PMP certification preferred. • Exhibit excellent communication, analytical judgment, and vendor management abilities. • Preferred: graduate degree and additional project‑management certification.

The expected salary range for this role is $153,900 to $171,000, dependent on experience, supplemented by the full benefits suite.
