About the Role

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician A repairs and maintains diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering systems. The role offers work on a single fleet of state‑of‑the‑art vehicles, daily challenges, training on new technologies, a stable shift, competitive wages, career growth, and the chance to serve the community. • Perform complex repairs on chassis, refuse bodies, brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and welding/fabrication • Diagnose malfunctions using electronic diagnostic tools • Complete company training programs and stay current on new technologies • Conduct inspections and repairs independently on heavy‑duty trucks

What You Bring

The technician must maintain advanced knowledge and strong skill proficiency in vehicle components such as chassis, refuse bodies (control, hydraulic and electrical), air and hydraulic brakes, engines, suspension, drivetrain, steering, heating and air conditioning, and welding/fabrication. Responsibilities include performing complex on‑site and road repairs, identifying malfunction sources with electronic tools, completing required company training, and handling additional job‑related duties as assigned. Candidates need at least three years of experience servicing heavy‑duty trucks and the ability to inspect and repair systems like suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions with minimal supervision. ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8) and experience with LNG/CNG are a plus, as is a Class B or higher commercial driver’s license. • Hold or pursue ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8); LNG/CNG experience preferred • Possess a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred
