About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager performs community accounting functions and assists in the administration, leasing, and supervision of personnel, supporting the Community Director in daily operations. Key duties include collecting and securing rental payments, scanning and verifying bank deposits, entering daily transactions in Yardi, preparing accounting records and monthly close‑outs, issuing late rent notices, assisting with evictions, handling lease preparations and e‑signatures, maintaining organized office files, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and related regulations, coordinating work orders, inspecting vacant and common‑area units, promoting resident retention, and performing other duties as directed by the Community Director.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mathematical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi, leadership and team‑building abilities, a valid driver’s license, and preferably prior apartment management experience.
