About the Role

The Project Engineer will coordinate and control Mechanical and Piping Engineering works for the Alkimos Desalination Plant, assisting the Senior Project Engineer to ensure safe, on‑schedule, on‑budget delivery to the required quality. The project encompasses marine works, tunnels, seawater intake, a reverse‑osmosis desalination plant, groundwater and storage systems, and associated civil, electrical, and earthworks, with first production expected in 2028. • Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and promote safe work practices. • Review designs, perform quantity take‑offs, prepare work packages, and evaluate supplier quotations. • Develop method statements, temporary works briefs, and constructability reviews. • Analyse schedules, manage logistics, track progress, and assess risks using planning tools (e.g., P6, Aphex). • Monitor QA processes, manage subcontractor documentation, and ensure timely closure of workpacks and NCRs. • Forecast financial outcomes, compile activity diaries, review costs, and monitor daily productivity for budget alignment. • Utilise digital engineering tools such as GIS, Propeller, and Revisto to plan and review works. • Verify site works against specifications and supervise inspection and testing protocols. • Apply efficient construction techniques to meet project goals. • Support the Senior Project Engineer to achieve safe, on‑schedule, and on‑budget project completion.

What You Bring

• Hold a minimum Bachelor of Engineering and at least 5 years of engineering experience. • Demonstrate ability to conduct safety inspections, manage procurement, develop construction documents, and use project scheduling software.
