About the Role

You will be the strategic and technical lead for all SharePoint development, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and brilliantly designed. Responsibilities include leading design, build and deployment of SharePoint Online sites and digital experiences, managing and mentoring a team of developers, translating business requirements into technical solutions, overseeing workflow and automation using Power Platform, driving ECM best practice, providing technical leadership across architecture and migrations, and ensuring governance, compliance, and security across M365. The role incorporates Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps. You will lead the Content & Collaboration Centre of Excellence, supporting and coaching citizen developers. The role may involve participation in incident support to maintain uninterrupted water delivery. • Lead design, build and deployment of SharePoint Online sites and digital experiences. • Manage and mentor a team of SharePoint developers, driving quality and continuous improvement. • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. • Oversee workflow, form, and automation development using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Champion ECM best practices, including metadata standards, content lifecycle, and user adoption. • Provide technical leadership for M365 architecture, integrations, performance, and migrations. • Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards across the Microsoft 365 environment. • Implement Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Lead the Content & Collaboration Centre of Excellence and coach citizen developers. • Participation in 24/7 incident support rotas as needed.

What You Bring

Essential: proven expertise in SharePoint Online and M365 development (SPFx, PowerShell, PnP, Power Platform), strong understanding of the software development lifecycle including Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps, experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise‑level solutions, programming skills in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core), JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, experience with Azure DevOps and cloud‑based architectures, and excellent communication and stakeholder influence. Desirable: Scrum Master or Product Owner certification and experience in UX, design thinking, or user research. • Require expertise in SharePoint Online, SPFx, PowerShell, PnP, and the Power Platform. • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps. • Proficient in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core), JavaScript/TypeScript, and React. • Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud‑based architectures. • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills. • Desirable: Scrum Master or Product Owner certification and UX/design thinking experience.
