About the Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the role sits within a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) value stream, leading a team of Manufacturing Engineers who support engine and module overhaul activities and ensure that key project and delivery commitments are met. The Team Lead will ensure manufacturing processes meet HS&E and product safety standards, drive a zero‑defect quality culture, and work with cross‑functional teams to plan, resource, and manage activities that meet project timelines while maintaining cost efficiency. They will also develop, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems, capture and analyse data to boost capability, share best practices across Communities of Practice, and provide coaching, performance reviews, and talent development for their team. • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with HS&E and product safety standards. • Lead initiatives to achieve zero‑defect quality and Right‑First‑Time production. • Plan and manage team schedules, resources, and costs to meet project timelines. • Develop, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems. • Capture and analyze process data to enhance capability and share best practices. • Coach engineers, conduct performance reviews, and promote talent development.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a UK HND/foundation degree or equivalent engineering qualification, with preferred accreditation such as IEng or CEng and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and enabling software tools; the position is graded SNBG 7‑10 with salary dependent on experience. • Hold a UK HND/foundation degree or equivalent engineering qualification. • Preferably hold IEng/CEng accreditation and possess strong knowledge of manufacturing systems.
