About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administration, and risk management, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise daily on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, scheduling and performance management. • Achieve optimal net operating income through cost control, revenue growth and strategic leasing initiatives. • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, rent collections, vendor invoice processing and financial close‑out reporting. • Create yearly marketing plans, execute leasing strategies, and maintain accurate lease documentation and reporting. • Resolve resident complaints, implement retention programs, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response coordination, and timely completion of property inspections and repairs. • Direct maintenance, construction and rehabilitation activities, securing bids, monitoring quality and ensuring expedient work completion. • Fulfill physical demands such as standing, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, operating equipment and responding to emergencies on evenings, weekends and holidays. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.

What You Bring

• Meet education requirements: High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
