Job Highlights
About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with various lift attachments to transport waste, recyclables or roll‑off containers to disposal, transfer or recycling facilities. Depending on the line of business—commercial, residential or roll‑off—drivers perform pick‑up service, navigate high‑traffic environments, and execute skilled backing maneuvers. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA and DOT regulations and complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. • Perform safe pick‑up, transport and unloading of waste or recyclables, ensuring customer sites are left clean. • Communicate hazards, service interruptions or customer requests to the Operations Manager or Dispatch promptly. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation and assist fellow drivers as needed. • Meet physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching and handling heavy containers.

What You Bring
• Hold a valid Class A or B CDL with air‑brake endorsement (or 1 year equivalent military driving experience) and be at least 18 years old. • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
