About the Role
In this role you will shape the future of digital delivery across transportation and infrastructure projects, optimizing how information is created, shared, and maintained. Your leadership in BIM and Virtual Design and Construction will enhance coordination, improve project efficiency, and drive innovation that benefits the people and places served by the region’s transportation systems. • Manage and maintain the project Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure consistent data organization and access. • Oversee Bentley tools (ProjectWise, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, MicroStation) and Autodesk tools (Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud). • Troubleshoot technical and modeling issues throughout the project lifecycle. • Assist designers in adopting model‑centric workflows for accurate design and analysis. • Identify project and client requirements and select appropriate software solutions. • Assign digital staff, mitigate project risks, and support collaboration among engineers, surveyors, contractors, and stakeholders. • Integrate project models with GIS and other data sources to improve contextual accuracy. • Establish data‑transfer workflows, QA/QC procedures, and digital standards; develop BIM execution and folder‑structure plans. • Implement optimization tools for drainage, earthworks, and geometric design analysis. • Coordinate project kickoff and ongoing coordination meetings; evaluate and deploy new software versions and emerging technologies. • Provide mentorship, training, and enforce BIM standards aligned with client and GFT requirements. • Conduct quality control reviews of digital models and deliverables; support modeling, detailing, and sheet management as needed. • Direct project production work including modeling, sheet production, detailing, and submittal preparation.

What You Bring
• Minimum 10 years AEC experience with transportation focus, including at least 3 years in a BIM‑focused role. • Proficiency in BIM and VDC for transportation and infrastructure projects. • Expertise with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC, Synchro, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and Bentley OpenRoads/OpenBridge. • Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary BIM projects. • Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality work. • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field. • Proficiency with ProjectWise. • Understanding of 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM processes, clash detection, scheduling, and quantity take‑offs. • Knowledge of ISO 19650 and related BIM standards. • Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
