About the Role

The Warehouse Helper’s primary responsibility is to assist with general labor in the warehouse. This role involves maintaining machines, tools, and equipment, loading and transporting work in progress, cleaning work areas, and supporting the Warehouse Supervisor as needed. Under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor, the Helper uses machines, tools, and physical labor to load and unload shipments, perform maintenance and repairs, and sort materials. Additional duties include assembling equipment and materials for projects, operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, front‑end loaders and trucks, and conducting minor equipment repairs. The Helper also handles housekeeping tasks, organizes and stores inventory, updates logs and maintenance schedules, and ensures deadlines are met while providing required reports. Physical labor is required up to 50% of the time, and six months of related experience is mandatory. • Perform general warehouse labor, including loading and unloading shipments manually and with equipment. • Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, front‑end loaders, and trucks. • Assemble equipment, conduct minor repairs, and monitor equipment operation for malfunctions. • Handle housekeeping tasks, organize and store inventory, and maintain equipment logs and maintenance schedules. • Ensure work deadlines are met and provide required reports to supervisors.
