About the Role

The company is hiring Project Managers for its expanding Real Estate team in Leeds. The main purpose of the role is to lead project management commissions, delivering end‑to‑end services and acting as the key day‑to‑day client interface while meeting time, cost, and quality targets. Project Managers handle commissions typically up to £40 million, though advisory projects can be larger. Responsibilities include strategic advice at project conception, establishing success criteria, planning and managing quality, safety, health and environmental issues, setting up governance and processes, producing detailed project plans, advising on procurement, leading cross‑functional teams, applying performance management techniques, managing change control, monitoring finances, and ensuring clear communication and reporting to clients. In addition to core project duties, the role involves marketing and business development such as developing new opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients, identifying cross‑selling opportunities, assisting Associate Directors and Directors with bid construction, attending client pitches, maintaining project case studies, and improving project management products and services. • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of real‑estate projects up to £40 m, ensuring time, cost and quality targets. • Serve as primary daily client liaison, aligning project outcomes with client objectives. • Provide strategic advice at project conception and define success criteria (time, cost, technical performance). • Establish project governance, processes, and detailed planning documentation. • Manage quality, safety, health and environmental aspects throughout the project. • Oversee procurement of resources and lead cross‑functional project teams. • Apply performance‑management techniques and KPIs to improve project performance. • Control change processes and monitor project finances and cash flow. • Coordinate project information flow, produce progress reports and maintain client communications. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cross‑selling with existing clients. • Support bid preparation, attend client pitches and keep project case‑studies up to date. • Supervise junior staff, participate in recruitment interviews and performance appraisals. • Capture project learnings into the internal knowledge database. • Ensure timely client invoicing and monitor financial status using FMS. • Recommend and implement internal process improvements.
