About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the financial performance and productivity of multiple operating units, ensuring they meet or exceed annual objectives and successfully implement organizational initiatives. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing the area’s operating plan, continuously reviewing market performance, counseling managers on program execution, developing and optimizing budgets, overseeing personnel functions such as hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation, and organizing resources to accomplish activities. The manager also participates in profit and loss reviews, manages equipment utilization and maintenance, and implements programs to improve safety, productivity, and profitability while ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulations. • Design and implement area operating plan aligned with long‑range objectives. • Review and evaluate market area performance; establish performance measures. • Counsel managers on program execution and adjust work or contingency plans as needed. • Assist in developing operating‑unit budgets and forecast financial and HR needs. • Support budget optimization and ensure budget compliance. • Oversee personnel functions: select, coach, train, evaluate performance, and advise on termination, compensation, and promotion. • Organize and schedule resources to accomplish activities. • Participate in profit & loss reviews; manage equipment utilization, maintenance, labor and material costs. • Implement programs to improve safety, productivity, and profitability; ensure DOT/OSHA and other regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or an accredited high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience). Preferred candidates have at least seven years of operations‑management experience, including three years leading a team, with demonstrated expertise in safety programs, budgeting, and labor‑relations issues. The position is primarily office‑based, requiring standard office equipment and occasional travel, and may require a REAL ID. Physical demands include repetitive motions, coordination, sitting, talking, and hearing. • Required: Bachelor’s degree (accredited) or high school diploma/GED plus four years relevant experience. • Preferred: 7+ years operations‑management experience, including 3+ years leading a team of two or more. • Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health & safety, finance, and HR functions. • Proven record implementing OSHA safety programs and equipment specifications. • Experience preparing/managing budgets and resolving labor‑relations issues. • Physical demands: repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination, sitting, talking, hearing. • Office environment using standard equipment; occasional travel may require REAL ID.

Benefits
