About the Role

As a Material Engineer you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering team on‑site. You will support metallurgical lab testing and quality control, maintain lab equipment, manage consumables, prepare etchants, operate test equipment, coordinate with third‑party labs, work with suppliers, and provide technical support to internal and external customers. • Perform metallurgical lab testing and quality control • Handle and calibrate lab equipment daily • Organize calibration and service calls with equipment suppliers • Manage lab consumables and accessories • Prepare etchants for microstructure analysis • Operate hardness tester, microscope, and XRF equipment • Coordinate third‑party laboratory testing not available in‑house • Work with suppliers to ensure material quality • Assist lab technician with sample preparation and equipment maintenance • Provide technical support to internal and external metal‑material customers

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher in materials or metallurgy engineering, has at least two years of experience in metal materials engineering (steel and heat‑treatment experience preferred), understands metal properties, heat‑treatment processes, and quality inspection, and possesses good communication skills. • Hold a bachelor’s (or higher) degree in materials or metallurgy engineering • Have 2+ years’ experience in metal materials engineering; steel and heat‑treatment experience preferred • Understand metal properties, heat‑treatment processes, and quality inspection • Possess good communication skills • Learn: use Lean Academy, Coursera®, and online university resources
