About the Role
In this role you will manage an Estate Upkeep team to carry out trades work that maintains defence sites, capture KPI and performance metrics, and provide asset condition data. You will also ensure all work complies with required standards and proactively identify and manage delivery risks. Downer plans, creates and sustains essential public services across Australia and New Zealand, managing critical infrastructure such as hospitals, data centres and defence partnerships. What You Bring
Applicants must hold a relevant trade certificate (carpentry, plumbing or electrical), a Queensland trade licence and a current driver’s licence, and be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory). Desired qualifications include a Building Maintenance Leadership Certification, a background in trade leadership and maintenance supervision, and a solid understanding of asset compliance and management techniques. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Hold a relevant trade certificate (carpentry, plumbing or electrical) and a Queensland trade licence. • Possess leadership experience in trade and maintenance supervision. • Have working knowledge of asset compliance and management techniques. • Maintain a current driver’s licence and be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
