About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s upkeep by performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, as well as assisting with unit make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and maintain on‑site presence. • Respond quickly to resident and management maintenance requests for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic repairs. • Execute make‑ready tasks and assist with unit turnover scheduling. • Conduct daily exterior clean‑up of grounds, breezeways and common areas. • Maintain swimming pool cleanliness and accurate chemical logs. • Inspect grounds and facilities each day to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Follow Asset Living policies and adhere to OSHA safety standards. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked and compliant with hazard communication procedures. • Monitor inventory of equipment and supplies and report shortages. • Record service requests, preventive maintenance activities, EPA/OSHA compliance and work‑in‑progress details. • Provide general upkeep and cleaning of offices, common areas and model units. • Participate in on‑call emergency response as needed. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times and enforce community policies.

What You Bring

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Able to lift and move objects over 100 lb, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and tolerate outdoor weather conditions. • Require reliable personal transportation for emergency on‑call duties.
