About the Role
The role supports the manufacturing of electrical products for the Power Distribution business, operating in a safety‑focused environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. • Build sub‑assemblies and assemblies for PDUs, Remote Power Panels, Static Transfer Switches, transformers, tap‑off boxes, and busway systems. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate construction. • Operate heavy industrial equipment, including cranes, winding machines, fabricators, welding and brazing tools. • Perform visual inspections of materials before and after assembly. • Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products. • Inspect completed assemblies for quality compliance and make adjustments as needed. • Adhere to company, environmental, health, and safety regulations. • Propose process and safety improvement ideas. • Calibrate machines and tools and maintain 5S housekeeping standards. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and bills of material. • Use a crane after training to lift items.

What You Bring
Applicants should reside within 50 mi of Richmond (with active‑duty military exceptions), have production or related experience, be capable of reading SOPs, wiring diagrams, and bills of material, and meet physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing. • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lb; stand for extended periods; perform repetitive motions. • Work daily or weekend overtime and flex to different areas or plants as required.
