About the Role

The EHS Specialist will oversee all site EHS initiatives and reporting, manage sustainability efforts to reduce hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, water and air emissions, and energy consumption, and ensure compliance with legislative, corporate, and industry standards. The specialist will partner with the corporate EHS team to execute plans, implement corrective actions, and foster a learning‑oriented culture that emphasizes proactive safety awareness and accountability. Talent management duties include delivering effective training through coaching and mentorship, creating training matrices for new hires and recurring sessions, and supporting site leadership in promoting a proactive safety culture. The specialist will also manage and maintain all EHS records, serve as the central point of contact for business leaders on EHS inquiries, and co‑chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee. Continuous improvement responsibilities involve supporting long‑term EHS initiatives, participating in daily accountability meetings, and tracking leading indicators to improve lagging performance metrics. The role requires collecting and analyzing incident data, using structured problem‑solving tools to develop preventive solutions, and driving engagement across internal and external stakeholders. • Oversee all EHS initiatives and reporting for the Arlington site. • Manage sustainability programs to reduce waste, emissions, and energy use. • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal/state regulations. • Lead the Joint Health and Safety Committee and act as EHS liaison for business leaders. • Conduct annual workstation risk assessments and track EHS training completion. • Analyze incident data (first aid, near misses, recordables) and implement corrective actions. • Deliver coaching, mentorship, and develop training matrices for employees and field service. • Support daily accountability meetings and monitor leading EHS indicators.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field, at least three years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Preferred qualifications include leadership skills, familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, analytical aptitude, first‑aid certification, and excellent written and verbal communication. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, structured problem‑solving, and claims/disability management. • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
